Every spring and autumn we always have assignments to move boats. Either because you have bought a boat that is going to a new home port or you need it sailed to a place where your vacation will begin. Or maybe you are on vacation one way and let us sail it back home :)

No job to small or to big...



Skipper assignments are very varied. Here, a job is neither too big nor too small and there has been a great variety in the type of assignments over the years. Everything from transporting a boat to/from a workshop to longer trips with a newly purchased boat that is going home to its owner and home port.

We take on the task of moving your boat safely and quickly from A to B. We are professional skippers with extensive local knowledge of both weather, conditions and ports.

Types of assignments we have had:

• Moving a boat between home port and service workshop

• Moving used boats to/from anywhere. For or with the owner.

• Pick-up of new boats in Denmark/Sweden/Germany/France/England/Spain for transport to/from Norway

Advantages of shipping by water:

• The boat is thoroughly tested along the way and any problems usually appear so that you don't have to test it yourself.

• We ALWAYS check the level of oil, gear oil, cooling water, and leaks at every shift change and before every departure from port.

• We check for lines/ropes in the propeller with an inspection camera before EVERY departure from port.

• Always cheaper than transportation by truck/trailer

• If you join all or part of the trip, you will receive training along the way.

• The trip can also be extended with extra day(s) in your home area so that you can become familiar with your new boat under expert guidance.
